Coach Agreement

This agreement applies when you coach through Tartaris. It adds to the Terms of Use.

You run your own business

You're an independent contractor, not our employee, partner or agent. You decide how you coach, your prices and your schedule. You're responsible for your own taxes, insurance, licences and qualifications. You must be at least 18.

Coach subscription

Coach features are free for your first month. After that they need a coach subscription, billed monthly through our website at the price shown there. You can cancel any time; it runs to the end of the month you've paid for. If it lapses, coach features lock after a 7-day grace period, but your clients and their history are kept.

Client payments and our fee

Clients pay you through Stripe. You need a Stripe account to be paid, and Stripe's own agreement applies. We keep 5% of each client payment as our platform fee. Stripe's processing fees are yours: Stripe takes them from your payment directly. Stripe pays out the rest to your bank account on its usual schedule, and sends you tax forms such as the 1099-K.

Refunds and disputes

Refunds follow our Refund Policy. If a client disputes a charge with their bank, Stripe handles it with you directly and any amount lost comes from your balance. We may refund a client ourselves where the Refund Policy says so, and deduct it from your payouts.

How you coach

• Be honest about your experience and results.
• Don't give medical advice or diagnose injuries; refer clients to a doctor.
• Keep what clients share with you private, and use their training data only to coach them.
• Don't move clients you met through Tartaris to payment outside it.
• Follow the Community Guidelines.

Ending it

Either of us can end this agreement at any time. We may suspend coaching for a breach of it, repeated disputes or complaints, or fraud.
